We are one of few Polish translation agencies to make a quote for translation services on the basis of the number of characters in the source text if it is drawn up in Microsoft Word. With other formats, we make only no-obligation quotes.
Translation quotes for documents made in non-accessible formats (e.g. PDF, JPG) and for sworn translations are provided at the rate per page of translated text , because it is not possible to make an accurate calculation of the number of characters in the source text.
Under the provisions of the Polish Ministry of Justice, a standard page of sworn translation is composed of 1125 characters (with spaces). The rate is charged on every new page. The final price is calculated based on the number of characters in the translated text, which may differ slightly from the number of words in the original document.
